CONFERENCE REGISTRATION - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Submission of an online registration is regarded as a firm booking and acceptance of these terms and conditions, however the booking will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. Payment in full must be received at time of registration and no later than 1 week before the date that the conference begins. In the event that full payment is not received by then, the participant/speaker will be refused entry to the conference. We accept payment by credit card and bank transfer. 

Certificate of participation will be issued to registered and fully-paid  participants, either in onsite or virtual modality. 

Bank charges are at participants’ own expense and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

1. CANCELATION POLICY

All changes/cancellations must be notified by email as soon as possible to ellme2022@ugr.es. 

• Until April 22nd, 2022: Full refund (registration and social events) minus 50€ administration fee plus any bank transfer fee
  incurred by Microdigital to proceed with the refund.
• From April 22nd, 2022 or non-attendance: No refund. 

1. COVID POLICY

As we are very much concerned about health and safety of all attendees, we will be taking all necessary precautions during the event to minimize any risk and to guarantee our well-being.

We will follow all official recommendations for the onsite event and will guarantee a sanitary plan for preventive care of COVID-19 before and during the event.

The organising committee will inform delegates about the COVID regulations in Spain in due time as well as ensure the venue meets the health recommendations at the time of the conference.

In the event that an on-site participant is unable to attend the conference either for being infected with COVID, for being officially in confinement, or for being unable to arrive in Spain according to the country COVID regulations, the participation will be moved to the online modality without any additional charge. 

Notification should be made as soon as possible to ellme2022@ugr.es with official documentation of the circumstances described above. Unfortunately, other circumstances or lack of official documentation will not be taken into account.

All on-site participants are responsible for checking their own country travelling regulations in relation to COVID and travelling requirements. Information about Spanish regulations will be provided in due time. 

The organising committee reserves the right to change the on-site conference to online modality, or other possible options, should the epidemiological situation in Spain and Granada require it.In this situation, for those on-site participants who would like to cancel their participation in the online congress, full refund (minus €50.00 administration fee plus any bank transfer fee incurred by Microdigital to proceed with the refund) will be applicable. 

In the event that the conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the conference organisers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the conference organisers, liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the participant/speaker and there will not be any additional liability to Microdigital, event hosts or any other individual associated with the event organization. Under these circumstances, the conference organisers reserve the right to refund the fees paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any bank transfer fee incurred.

4. SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions may be made at any time. If you wish to substitute a participant/speaker, you
must notify Microdigital (ellme2022@ugr.es) in writing at the earliest opportunity and at least
24 hours before the event begins.

5. CHANGES AND POSTPONMENT

Microdigital reserves the right to make alterations to the conference programme, venue and timings at any time. In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the conference is being postponed or the dates being changed, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate. If by re-arrangement or postponement the event can take place, the booking between the participant/speaker and the organisers shall remain in force and will be subject to the cancellation schedule above.
6. LIABILITY
Views expressed by speakers, sponsors and/or exhibitors are their own. Microdigital cannot accept liability for any advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker, sponsor and/or exhibitor at the conference or in any material provided to participants/speakers. In addition, Microdigital shall not be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of the services or information provided in connection with the event

7. PRIVACY
The personal information supplied in connection with this booking will be held by Microdigital as a record of attendees and parties expressing interest. By registering for this conference the parties concerned are agreeing that the conference organisers may use that personal information to contact them by email, direct mail, telephone or fax, in order to supply information relevant to this conference, or about other conferences, events and opportunities that the organisers are planning and feel may be of interest to them. If you do not want your details to be used in this way, please contact Microdigital by letter or email to confirm this (ellme2022@ugr.es).

8. PHOTOS & FILMING
For promotional purposes, photos and video recordings will be taken during the conference.
Participants/speakers who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organisers in writing prior to the event (ellme2022@ugr.es).

9. WEBSITE & LINKS
The conference and associated Microdigital websites may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which Microdigital takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website.

10. GENERAL
We reserve the right at all time to change, amend, add or remove any of the above terms without prior notice If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms &Conditions should be or become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply.
These Terms& Conditions apply to all participants of this event, including speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.
